Yamaha Unveils Hydrogen-Powered Golf Car, Paving the Way for Carbon Neutrality in Marine and Automotive Industries.

Yamaha Motor Corporation has debuted a hydrogen-powered golf car at the Yamaha Marine Innovation Center in Georgia. The company has introduced hydrogen-based solutions as potential solutions for achieving carbon neutrality in its products. Ben Speciale, the president of Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit, stated that hydrogen is one of the potential solutions Yamaha is considering for specific products such as larger marine outboard motors and golf cars. Georgia Public Service Commissioner Tim Echols commended Yamaha’s initiative in helping them navigate hydrogen technology. Yamaha’s connections in Georgia enable collaborations with other businesses and leaders to understand hydrogen distribution infrastructure challenges and explore carbon-neutral options for multiple industries.
