Uber and Toyota Canada Launch Zero-Emission Vehicle Rentals in Metro Vancouver to Promote Carbon Neutrality Goals

Uber and Toyota Canada have partnered to offer drivers zero-emission vehicle rentals through the KINTO Share program in the Metro Vancouver area. The partnership allows eligible drivers to rent Toyota’s all-electric bZ4X and Toyota’s hydrogen fuel cell electric Mirai. This collaboration aims to increase the use of these vehicles and contribute to carbon neutrality goals. The vehicles are eligible to use British Columbia’s HOV lanes. Michael van Hemmen, General Manager of Mobility for Uber in Canada, said the partnership will offer a safe and seamless experience to rent these vehicles.
