Texas Oil Regulator Christi Craddick Criticizes VP Harris’ Fracking Ban Proposal Amid Ongoing Energy Policy Debate.

Texas’ chief oil and gas regulator, Christi Craddick, has criticized the environmental priorities of Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. This comes after Harris expressed support for a national ban on fracking, which has been crucial to unlocking shale formations in Texas, Pennsylvania and other energy-rich states. CrADDick stated that the Texas Railroad Commission represents the “front-line” against Harris’ environmental policies. This follows a day after Craddic criticized Harris for shifting her stance on fracking.
