Texas’ chief oil and gas regulator, Christi Craddick, has criticized the environmental priorities of Vice President Kamala Harris, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. This comes after Harris expressed support for a national ban on fracking, which has been crucial to unlocking shale formations in Texas, Pennsylvania and other energy-rich states. CrADDick stated that the Texas Railroad Commission represents the “front-line” against Harris’ environmental policies. This follows a day after Craddic criticized Harris for shifting her stance on fracking.
