Sinovoltaics, a Hong Kong-based technical compliance and quality assurance service firm, has released its third quarter PV Module Manufacturers Ranking, which covers 65 panel suppliers, 6 more than the previous ranking. The report is free to download and uses publicly available information from 2021 to 2024 to provide insight into the stability of the scores over time. Four module manufacturers have made significant improvements, including U.S.-based Mission Solar, India-based Tata Power Solar, and Taiwan-based Ritek. The top of the financial stability chart is from India, with First Solar moving up to fifth place from sixth place. The financial stability ranking uses a quantitative formula to measure the financial health of a company based on public information. While the rankings do not necessarily indicate the quality of PV equipment, buyers and other industry stakeholders can use these reports as part of their due diligence process or identify financially stable partners.
