Zeltmann is a combined cycle power plant located in New York, operating under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. With an operating capacity of 540.4 megawatts, the facility plays a significant role in the New York Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is managed by the Power Authority of the State of New York, which also serves as its majority owner and holding company. Zeltmann operates in an unregulated environment, utilizing natural gas as its primary fuel source to generate electricity efficiently and sustainably.
