Yamhill Solar is a solar power facility located in McMinnville, Oregon, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. With an operating capacity of 1 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is operated by Standard Solar and is unregulated, providing flexibility in its operations. The majority ownership lies with Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced is Portland General Electric Company, ensuring a reliable market for the solar-generated power.
