WyEast Solar is a solar power facility located in Wasco, Oregon, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 10 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is operated by Avangrid, which is also the majority owner, under the holding company Iberdrola SA. The facility is regulated and primarily sells its power to the Portland General Electric Company, contributing to the region’s renewable energy supply.
