The Wortham Solar Farm, located in Henderson, North Carolina, operates under the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With a capacity of 5 MW, this solar facility harnesses the power of the sun to generate renewable energy. The plant is operated by Ccp Ni Master Tenant 3 and is unregulated, providing flexibility in its operations. Cypress Creek Renewables holds the majority ownership, while EQT Infrastructure V is the owner holding company. Duke Energy Progress serves as the primary power purchaser, integrating the solar energy produced into its power control area.
