The World Generation X facility, located in North Tonawanda, NY, operates under the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. This combined cycle power plant has an operating capacity of 64.7 MW and is managed by NAES Corporation. It functions within the New York Independent System Operator’s power control area and is unregulated. The plant is primarily fueled by gas and is majority-owned by Digi Power X, which also serves as its holding company. The primary power purchaser for the facility is Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation.
