Whitehorn Solar is a 50 MW solar power plant located in Gretna, Virginia, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. Operated by ENGIE North America, this unregulated facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity, primarily supplying power to Amazon Web Services. As part of the PJM Interconnection power control area, Whitehorn Solar reflects ENGIE’s commitment to renewable energy and sustainability, with its majority ownership held by ENGIE North America and its parent company, Engie SA.
