White Rock/Slab Creek is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Placerville, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 243.7 megawatts and is managed by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), which serves as both the plant operator and majority owner. The facility is regulated and operates under the jurisdiction of the Balancing Authority of Northern California.
