White Pine Solar is a solar power facility located in Butler, Georgia, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 101.2 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is operated by NextEra Energy Resources, which is also the majority owner, under the holding company NextEra Energy. The facility operates in an unregulated environment and primarily sells its generated power to Georgia Power Company, contributing to the renewable energy landscape in the Southern Company’s power control area.
