Wheelabrator Lisbon is a biomass power generation facility located in Jewett City, Connecticut, operating under the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. The plant utilizes steam turbine technology to achieve an operating capacity of 13 megawatts (MW). It is part of the ISO New England power control area and is managed by Wheelabrator Environmental Systems. The facility operates in an unregulated environment and is primarily owned by the Eastern Connecticut Resource Recovery Authority, which also serves as the owner holding company.
