The Wheatland Generating Facility, located in Wheatland, Indiana, operates under the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. This gas turbine power plant has an operating capacity of 508 MW and is part of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is regulated and primarily owned by Duke Energy Indiana, a subsidiary of Duke Energy Corporation. It utilizes gas as its fuel source and is connected to the Midwestern Gas Transmission Company for its gas supply.
