Westminster Renewables is a solar power facility located in Westminster, Massachusetts, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 1.5 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Nexamp, which is also the majority owner, while Mitsubishi Corporation holds the ownership through its holding company. The facility operates in an unregulated environment and supplies power primarily to Worcester Polytechnic Institute, contributing to the institution’s sustainability goals.
