West Buxton is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in West Buxton, Maine, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 7.7 megawatts and is integrated into the ISO New England power control area. Brookfield White Pine Hydro serves as the plant operator, while Brookfield Renewable Partners holds the majority ownership. The facility is unregulated and is part of the Brookfield Corporation’s portfolio, utilizing water as its primary fuel source for energy production.
