The WED Coventry 2 is a wind turbine facility located in Coventry, Rhode Island, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 4.5 MW, this regulated plant is operated by Green Development and primarily owned by the City of West Warwick, Rhode Island. The facility harnesses wind energy to generate power, which is purchased by National Grid USA. The plant plays a significant role in the ISO New England power control area, contributing to the region’s renewable energy goals.
