The Waste Management Naples LFGTE Project is a state-of-the-art facility located in Naples, Florida, operating under the SERC Reliability Corporation region. Utilizing internal combustion technology, the plant has an operating capacity of 4 MW, contributing to the local power grid managed by Florida Power & Light Company. The facility is operated by WM Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of Waste Management, which holds majority ownership of the project. As an unregulated entity, the Naples LFGTE Project focuses on harnessing biomass as its primary fuel source, aligning with sustainable energy practices and supporting the transition to renewable energy solutions.
