The Wasson CO2 Removal Plant, located in Denver City, Texas, operates under the Midwest Reliability Organization and utilizes gas turbine technology with an operating capacity of 23.4 MW. The plant is managed by Occidental Permian and is unregulated, with Occidental Permian being the majority owner under the holding company Occidental Petroleum Corporation. The facility primarily uses gas as fuel and is connected to the El Paso Natural Gas Company pipeline. Currently, there are no primary power purchasers associated with the plant.
