WasecaSun is a solar power facility located in Waseca, Minnesota, operating under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 5 megawatts, the plant contributes to the energy needs of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s Power Control Area. The facility is regulated and primarily owned by National Grid USA, which is a subsidiary of National Grid plc. Additionally, the Washington State Investment Board holds ownership stakes in the plant.
