Wanship is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Coalville, Utah, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 1.9 megawatts and is part of the PacifiCorp East and West power control area. The facility is managed by the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, Wanship utilizes water as its primary fuel source, contributing to sustainable energy production in the region.
