Wallingford Solar is a solar power facility located in Wallingford, Connecticut, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 16.1 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by NextEra Energy Resources, which is also the majority owner and part of the larger NextEra Energy holding company. The facility operates in an unregulated environment and supplies power primarily to The United Illuminating Company, contributing to the renewable energy landscape in the ISO New England power control area.
