WAL3226 is an internal combustion power generation facility located in Katy, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region). The plant operates with a capacity of 1.2 megawatts and is integrated into the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area. The facility is operated by Wal-Mart Stores Texas, which also serves as the majority owner. As an unregulated entity, WAL3226 utilizes gas as its primary fuel source, aligning with Walmart’s commitment to efficient and sustainable energy practices.
