Venus Wind 3 is a wind turbine power plant located in Grinnell, Iowa, operating under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 3 MW, the facility contributes to the renewable energy landscape within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. The plant is managed by Availon and is classified as unregulated, allowing for flexible operational strategies. The majority ownership is held by Optimum Renewables, which also serves as the owner holding company. Additionally, Building Energy SpA is recognized as another owner of the power plant.
