Vega Community Solar is a solar power facility located in Glenwood, Minnesota, operating under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 4.5 megawatts, the plant contributes to the energy needs of the region through its sustainable solar technology. The facility is managed by BHE Solar and operates within the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s power control area. As an unregulated entity, Vega Community Solar is primarily owned by BHE Renewables, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. Other owners of the power plant include BHE Renewables.
