Van Buren Solar is a solar power facility located in Roseboro, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 2 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is operated by Van Buren Solar and is unregulated, allowing for flexible operational practices. The majority owner is Soltage, while the holding company is Tenaska Energy. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced is Duke Energy Progress, which manages the power control area in which the plant operates.
