USS Verde Solar is a solar power facility located in Morgan, Minnesota, operating under the jurisdiction of the Midwest Reliability Organization. With an operating capacity of 1 MW, the plant contributes to the energy needs of the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s Power Control Area. The facility is managed by Standard Solar and operates in an unregulated environment. The majority ownership is held by Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, which also serves as the owner holding company. Additionally, Fonds de solidarite FTQ is recognized as another owner of the power plant.
