US Gypsum Oakfield is a gas turbine power plant located in Oakfield, New York, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 5.7 MW, the facility is managed by the United States Gypsum Company, which is also its majority owner and holding company. The plant operates in an unregulated environment and is part of the New York Independent System Operator’s power control area. It utilizes gas as its primary fuel source, drawing from the Empire Pipeline for its gas supply. The plant currently has no primary power purchaser.
