Upper Molina is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Molina, Colorado, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 9.9 megawatts and is part of the WAPA Lower Colorado Region’s power control area. The facility is managed by the US Bureau of Reclamation, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, Upper Molina utilizes water as its primary fuel source, contributing to sustainable energy production in the region.
