Tuxedo is a hydraulic turbine power plant located in Flat Rock, North Carolina, operating under the jurisdiction of the SERC Reliability Corporation. With an operating capacity of 6.4 MW, the facility is part of the Duke Energy Carolinas power control area. The plant is managed by Northbrook Energy and operates in an unregulated environment. The majority ownership is held by Alliance Fund II, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary fuel source for the plant is water, ensuring a sustainable energy production process. Other owners of the power plant include Northbrook Energy and NEO Corporation.
