Tiger Bay is a combined cycle power plant located in Fort Meade, Florida, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 230 MW, it plays a crucial role in the Duke Energy Florida power control area. The plant is operated and majority-owned by Duke Energy Florida, a subsidiary of Duke Energy Corporation, and is regulated under state guidelines. Utilizing natural gas as its primary fuel source, Tiger Bay connects to the Florida Gas Transmission Company for its gas supply.
