The Clorox Company operates a solar power facility located in Aberdeen, Maryland, within the ReliabilityFirst Corporation NERC region. This plant, with an operating capacity of 1.6 megawatts, is integrated into the PJM Interconnection power control area. The facility is managed by Tesla Energy Operations, which also serves as the majority owner under the Tesla holding company. As an unregulated entity, the plant harnesses solar energy, contributing to sustainable energy solutions while aligning with the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.
