Thad Hill Energy Center

The Thad Hill Energy Center, located in Clifton, Texas, operates within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region) and utilizes combined cycle technology to achieve an operating capacity of 801 MW. The facility is part of the ERCOT power control area and is managed by Calpine Bosque Energy Center. As an unregulated plant, it is primarily owned by Calpine Corporation through its holding company, ECP ControlCo. The energy produced is fueled by natural gas, with CyrusOne serving as the primary power purchaser.
