Sweetwater Wind 5 is a wind turbine power plant located in Maryneal, Texas, within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region). The facility boasts an operating capacity of 80.5 megawatts and is integrated into the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area. The plant is operated by Brookfield Renewable Partners and is classified as unregulated. The majority ownership is held by Leeward Renewable Energy, with the owner holding company being OMERS Administration Corporation. Additionally, Duke Energy Generation Services Holding Company is among the other owners of the power plant.
