SunAnza is a state-of-the-art battery energy storage facility located in Anza, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. With an operating capacity of 4.4 megawatts, the plant plays a crucial role in enhancing grid reliability and supporting renewable energy integration in the WAPA Lower Colorado Region. The facility is operated by Anza Electric Cooperative, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, SunAnza leverages advanced energy storage technology to provide flexible and efficient energy solutions, contributing to the overall sustainability and resilience of the local power infrastructure.
