Sun Farmer I is a solar power facility located in West Jefferson, North Carolina, within the SERC Reliability Corporation region. With an operating capacity of 0.02 MW, this unregulated plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The facility is operated by Sun Farmer 1, which also holds majority ownership. Power generated at Sun Farmer I is primarily purchased by Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative, contributing to the local energy supply in the Duke Energy Carolinas power control area.
