Summer Solar B2 is a solar power plant located in Lancaster, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 1.5 MW, the facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is managed by Sustainable Power Group and operates under an unregulated status. Its majority owner is the Alberta Investment Management Corporation, which also serves as the holding company. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced is Southern California Edison Company, ensuring a reliable distribution of solar-generated power to the grid.
