Summer Solar A2 is a solar power facility located in Lancaster, California, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council region. With an operating capacity of 1.5 MW, the plant harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. It is managed by Sustainable Power Group and operates under an unregulated status. The majority ownership lies with Alberta Investment Management Corporation, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary power purchaser for the energy produced is Southern California Edison Company, ensuring a reliable distribution of solar-generated power to the grid.
