The Strauss Wind Farm, located in Lompoc, California, operates under the Western Electricity Coordinating Council and features advanced wind turbine technology with an impressive operating capacity of 95.3 MW. Managed by BayWa re Wind, the facility is unregulated and primarily serves the California Independent System Operator’s power control area. BayWa re Wind holds majority ownership, under the umbrella of BayWa Aktiengesellschaft. The wind farm’s clean energy output is primarily purchased by Marin Clean Energy, contributing to sustainable power solutions in the region.
