Stillwater Hydro Station, located in Old Town, Maine, operates under the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. This facility utilizes hydraulic turbine technology to achieve an operating capacity of 2.1 megawatts (MW). The power generated is managed within the ISO New England control area. The plant is operated by Black Bear Hydro Partners and is classified as unregulated. The majority ownership is held by BIF II Gen Aggregator, which also serves as the owner holding company. The primary fuel source for the plant is water. Additionally, Brookfield Renewable Partners is recognized as another owner of the power plant.
