Stewarts Bridge is a hydraulic turbine power generation facility located in Hadley, New York, within the Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NERC) region. The plant operates with a capacity of 40 megawatts and is integrated into the New York Independent System Operator’s power control area. The facility is managed by Erie Boulevard Hydropower and is classified as unregulated. The majority ownership of Stewarts Bridge is held by Brookfield Renewable Partners, a subsidiary of Brookfield Corporation. Utilizing water as its primary fuel source, the plant contributes to the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
