Spinning Spur Wind is a wind turbine facility located in Vega, Texas, within the Midwest Reliability Organization’s NERC region. With an operating capacity of 161 MW, the plant harnesses wind energy to generate electricity. It is managed by EDF Power Solutions North America, which is also the majority owner, under the holding company Electricite de France SA. The facility operates in an unregulated environment and supplies power primarily to Southwestern Public Service Company, contributing to the renewable energy landscape in the Southwest Power Pool area.
