Sneads Grove is a solar power facility located in Laurinburg, North Carolina, operating under the SERC Reliability Corporation NERC region. With an operating capacity of 5 megawatts, the plant is strategically positioned within the Duke Energy Progress power control area. The facility is managed by Strata Solar Services, a subsidiary of Strata Clean Energy, which holds majority ownership. As an unregulated entity, Sneads Grove harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source, contributing to the region’s renewable energy portfolio.
