Smith Creek is a solar power facility located in Nichols, New York, operating under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. With an operating capacity of 3.8 megawatts, the plant contributes to the energy needs of the New York Independent System Operator’s Power Control Area. The facility is managed by LSE Pisces, which also serves as the majority owner and holding company. As an unregulated entity, Smith Creek harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source to generate clean, renewable power.
