Skysol is a solar power plant located in Malin, Oregon, within the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) region. With an operating capacity of 55 MW, the facility harnesses solar energy to generate electricity. The plant is operated by Skysol and is unregulated, providing flexibility in its operations. Hanwha Energy Corporation is the majority owner, under the umbrella of Hanwha Corporation. The primary power purchaser for Skysol’s generated electricity is PacifiCorp, which manages the power control area encompassing the plant.
