The Silver Star I Wind Power Project, located in Desdemona, Texas, operates within the Texas Reliability Entity (NERC Region) and contributes an operating capacity of 52.8 MW. Utilizing advanced wind turbine technology, the project is part of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power control area. The plant is operated by EDF Power Solutions North America and is classified as unregulated. Ares Management Corporation serves as the majority owner, with UBS AG also holding ownership stakes in the facility.
