The plant is managed by XPLR Infrastructure, which also holds majority ownership. Power generated at the Sholes Wind Energy Center is primarily purchased by the Omaha Public Power District, contributing to the region’s sustainable energy supply. The facility is part of the Southwest Power Pool’s power control area, reinforcing its role in the local energy landscape.
