Sheesley is a solar power facility located in Horseheads, New York, operating under the jurisdiction of the Northeast Power Coordinating Council. With an operating capacity of 5 megawatts, the plant contributes to the energy needs of the New York Independent System Operator’s Power Control Area. The facility is managed by Nautilus Solar Solutions, which also serves as the majority owner. The ownership is held by the Desmarais Family Residual Trust. As an unregulated entity, Sheesley harnesses solar energy, utilizing the sun as its primary fuel source to generate clean, renewable power.
