The Shasta Solar Farm, located in Fall River Mills, California, operates under the Western Electricity Coordinating Council. With a capacity of 3 MW, this solar facility harnesses the power of the sun to generate renewable energy. Managed by Blue Oak Energy, the plant operates in an unregulated environment and is primarily owned by Quattro Solar, under the holding company LS Power Development. The energy produced is primarily purchased by Pacific Gas and Electric Company, contributing to the state’s clean energy goals.
