Sharon Station is a solar power facility located in Upper Freehold, New Jersey, operating under the jurisdiction of the ReliabilityFirst Corporation within the NERC Region. With an operating capacity of 2.7 megawatts, the plant contributes to the PJM Interconnection power control area. The facility is managed by NJR Clean Energy Ventures Corporation, which also serves as the majority owner. As an unregulated entity, Sharon Station is part of New Jersey Resources Corporation’s portfolio, utilizing solar energy as its primary fuel source.
